We are looking for a full-time Operations Manager to help us with this growth and the associated administration, finance analysis and operations.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be in charge of managing the operations connected to this growth. From team growth, stock options, investor relations to accounting and administration in our three branches (US, Canada and France), your role is to quickly understand operations and automate as much as you can.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys solving problems through technology and automation.

You will wear many hats

Related to accounting and adminβ€Œ (70%) 🎩
You like to make sure everything runs like clockwork, which is a key challenge with our growth.
  • Support the CEO in fundraising
  • Ensure tax compliance, conformity, insurance, banking and other day to day activities in QuΓ©bec, France and United States.
  • Implement automation to increase administrative efficiency
  • Manage legal risks and own the relationship with our lawyers
  • Coordinate bookkeeping and own the relationship with our accountant
  • Update financials to support the CEO reporting and decision making
  • Help the CEO prepare the budget
  • Be in charge of investor relations and help the CEO prepare board presentations
  • Manage account payables and automate payments as much as possible
  • Manage employees stock options and contracts
  • Run the payroll
Special projects (20%) ⛑️
As we are a small team, we have specific needs at different moments of the year.
  • Take ownership on social responsibility initiatives such as B Corp reporting
  • Organize the Zeffy summit (weeklong in-person summit once a year, next one is in France!)
  • Take initiatives to get the pulse of the team (surveys and other softwares)
  • Negociate key contracts with suppliers

We will ask you to be in charge of fostering team activities and interactions to promote our teamwork culture.
We will double the team in 6 to 12 months. As we grow we will recruit in HR so that this role becomes more focused on the admin and finance.
