# Managing admissions the day of the event

In order to manage access to the event, you have two solutions:

* Either you take care of everything and Zeffy does not generate a ticket. For example, you can print your list of participants and check the names at the entrance.
* Either we generate tickets that buyers will receive by email. These tickets are provided with a QR code and details of the purchase. Guests can print them if they wish, or they can show them directly on their phone. You can scan them with a universal QR code reader.

## Scanning QR codes

Admission is done using QR codes on tickets that can be scanned. It is important to note that cell phones that scan must have internet access.

You can use your phone's photo function to scan QR codes. We also recommend the QR Code & Barcode Scanner that is available on the Apple App Store (free version). For greater efficiency, go to "Settings" after downloading the app and enable "Open websites automatically."

If that app is not available to you, any QR scanner that's available in your phone's app store should work.

If a buyer buys multiple tickets, he will receive as much QR codes as there are tickets. Participants will then each be able to enter with their own QR code at the entrance.

The tickets can be scanned only once. You can see the date and time the ticket was scanned by going to Ticketing -> My sales and then clicking on the ticket purchase.

### Your donor can't find their ticket

If a donor is having trouble finding the ticket at the venue, you can find their ticket yourself from your Zeffy dashboard. Go to Ticketing -> My sales and find the name of the person who purchased the ticket. You'll see the ticket link under the Ticket column.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.zeffy.com/org/contact-management/suivi/faire-les-admissions-le-jour-de-levenement.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
