Check out these tips to amplify your fundraising and get the most out of Zeffy!

Your donation form is often the heart of your yearly fundraising. Set it up for success by making it easy for your donors to navigate and complete.

Donation amounts

When choosing the donation amounts you set on your form, you'll need to appeal to different sized donors. You should always choose recommended amounts that will make your donors feel generous. In other words, you want to set the amounts so that donors give the third or fourth option. We suggest putting your average donation amount in the third option and then adjusting the other based on that.
For example, if you received 50$ on average last year, your four amounts can be 10$, 25$, 50$ and 100$.
For specific campaigns, you can choose to not add any recommended amounts. This is best when you don't know your donor base and their normal gift size.
To do this on Zeffy, simply use the toggle button to de-active the amount.
Both donation amount options are deactivated.

Sharing your campaigns

Grab your donors attention by embedding your campaign thermometer directly into your website's homepage. You can access the code to embed the thermometer in the Share section of your form. All you need is to copy paste the code to an HTML bloc on your website. Check out our embedding guide for more information on that.
For your physical communications or postings, try adding the QR code we provide for your campaign. You can also find it on the Share section of your form. It's a great way to have donors give quickly and in person!

Peer-to-peer Campaigns

Guide your fundraisers with clear steps

Once your fundraisers create their campaign, they will receive an email with their campaign link and access to edit their campaign. You can also add a message to your participant to help guide them through their campaign. This message can be added by editing your campaign and going to Create your form.

Encourage your donors to leave comments

Your fundraisers will feel motivated with the kind words from their donors. Donors can now leave comments after completing their gift. Be sure to encourage them to do so by adding it to the description of your campaign.

How to cancel monthly donations

Here are the steps to help a donor cancel their monthly donation:

    In your Zeffy dashboard, click on "Donations"
  2. 2.
    Next, click on the "My donations" section under "Donations".
  3. 3.
    In the search bar, look up the name of your donor. Once you find the monthly donation, click on the monthly donation.
  4. 4.
    A page should pop up with the name of the donor, as well as the monthly donation amount. At the top righthand corner of the page, you will see 3 little dots. Click on the 3 little dots, and select "Stop the donation" in the drop-down.
  5. 5.
    You've successfully cancelled the monthly donation, and the page should now have the word "Finished" underneath the monthly donation amount.

Tracking analytics on your forms

Zeffy allows you to add your Google analytics to your forms and track your campaigns' performance! This allows you to track analytics for all your Zeffy forms directly through your Google Analytics account. With this, you can calculate your forms conversion and more! Check out some of the information included through the default use of analytics.
